Students will be taught the basics of finger style, picking, and slap bass. Students will also be exposed to the Nashville Numbering system, chord charts, tablature, and sheet music. Students will need their own bass, amp, cables, tuner, and a 3 ring binder. Students will NOT need to bring their amp to lessons as we have one they can use here at the studio.

NOTE It is required that students have an instrument that will stay perfectly in tune and with an action low enough to be easy to hold proper fingerings. It may be necessary to have your current instrument sent to another professional for a proper set up, or to have another more appropriate instrument purchased prior to starting lessons. We do not sell or set up instruments here at Great Scot Studio but can recommend some great shops for you.
